A guide you can actually use.
Now and next for every channel, a grid you page through by the half hour, and search across all of tonight's programmes.
Tavi Player
Live TV with a real guide and catch-up on one side. Movies & Shows with proper artwork on the other. A single switch between them, and nothing to pay.
Android, Fire TV and Windows. Tavi provides no content — you add your own playlist or login.
The same switch lives in the app. Tavi remembers which side you left it on.
Most players make you choose between a live TV app and a films app. Tavi is both, and each side is built for what it does.
Now and next for every channel, a grid you page through by the half hour, and search across all of tonight's programmes.
Where your provider supports it, anything in the guide from the last few days plays on demand.
Add your own free TMDB key and your library gets posters, backdrops, cast and trailers. Series are laid out by season; the next episode is one click away.
Films, episodes and catch-up all remember where you were, saved whenever you pause or leave. The short rewind gives you your bearings back.
You pick what they can watch; they get a friendly scene to pick from. Free, always.
No animations, glows or live previews. Menus respond instantly on hardware that usually struggles.
Teal by default. Ocean, Crimson, Violet, Lime, Amber, Coral and a high-contrast Graphite when you want them.
Tonight's live sport from your own channels, pulled out of the guide into one place.
The best of what's on across your channels tonight, in one row.
Two or four channels at once. Sound follows your selection.
Switches to a duplicate channel if one fails. Reminds you when a programme starts.
Everything you need to watch is free and stays free. Tavi Plus is a one-off payment, not a subscription, and it unlocks the extras on every device you own.
No account, no trial, no adverts. Install it and watch.
For one household: phone, tablet, a couple of TVs and the PC.
The same extras on up to eight devices.
Buying Plus opens once the licence system is finished. Until then every install has the Plus features switched on, so try them. The device limit exists because one licence would otherwise get shared around; it isn't a subscription and it doesn't expire.
“I made Tavi because I wanted a player that just works, and I think everyone should get to use it, not only people who can afford to pay. So the free version is free, for as long as you like. If you can spare a few pounds, Tavi Plus unlocks the extras and helps me keep building it. If you can't, that's fine too – enjoy it. Either way, thanks for being here.”
Tavi is a player only: it includes no channels, films or shows. You'll need your own playlist or subscription from a service you're entitled to use. Read this first

Google Play and Microsoft Store listings will be linked here when they're live. Updates installed over an APK keep your logins and settings.
On first run Tavi asks for your live TV login. Enter the server address, username and password your provider gave you (an Xtream Codes login), or paste an M3U playlist link. The guide loads in the background.
Nothing is bundled with the app. If you don't have a provider, Tavi has nothing to show you.
Yes. Step two of setup asks whether Movies & Shows should use the same login, a separate one, or be switched off. Change it any time in Settings → Account → Movies & TV Shows login.
From your provider by default. For richer artwork (posters, backdrops, cast, trailers) add your own free TMDB API key in Settings → Artwork & info. Tavi doesn't ship with a key; you create one at themoviedb.org and paste it in once.
In Settings → Kids mode, tick the channels children are allowed and choose a scene (Space, Rainbow or Jurassic). Set a PIN. A Kids tile on the home screen switches in; the Grown-ups button and the PIN switch back out. Kids mode is part of the free version.
Turn on Flat mode (Settings → Display). It removes animations, glows and live previews so menus respond instantly. Tavi is tested on a deliberately slow tablet for exactly this reason.
Each install you sign in to: a phone, a tablet, a TV box, a PC. Plus covers 5, Plus Family covers 8, and you'll be able to see and remove devices yourself. The free version has no limit.
No. The free version is free for life and Plus is a one-off payment. There are no adverts in either.
No. Your logins stay on your device and nothing you watch is sent to us. The app talks only to your provider and, if you added a key, to TMDB for artwork. Details are in the privacy policy.

We can help with the app itself. We can't help you find, buy or fix a subscription or playlist, and we don't recommend providers.
